As part of the scientific and community-oriented activities that contribute to serving society and supporting the development of the veterinary sector, a group of faculty members from the Department of Biological Sciences at the College of Education for Pure Sciences, with the participation of the Assistant Dean for Administrative and Financial Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Mumtaz Matti Mansour, completed a community-based study in cooperation with the Veterinary Dispensary in Al-Hamdaniya. The study focused on the diagnosis and treatment of chronic mastitis cases in cattle.The research team consisted of Assistant Professor Dr. Mumtaz Matti Mansour, Assistant Professor Dr. Hawraa Faisal Hasb Allah, Assistant Lecturer Ran Abdul Salam Hamed, and Assistant Lecturer Asmaa Jabr Bashir. The team successfully provided appropriate medical treatment using Povidone-Iodine, which demonstrated effective results in treating cases of chronic mycotic mastitis.This study was conducted within the framework of supporting scientific efforts aimed at preserving livestock resources and improving veterinary healthcare services in Nineveh Governorate, as well as strengthening cooperation between academic institutions and specialized service agencies.The research team also recommended the adoption of the study entitled:“Diagnosis of Acquisitive Microorganism and Treatment of Mycotic Mastitis in Cows with Povidone-Iodine in Nineveh Governorate”and the dissemination of its findings to veterinary hospitals and clinics to facilitate their application in the diagnosis and treatment of mastitis cases in cattle. #Media_and_Government_Communication_Division #College_of_Education_for_Pure_Sciences
