Under the patronage and in the presence of the President of Al-Hamdaniya University, Professor Dr. Nashat Mubarak Sliwa, Al-Hamdaniya University held, on Sunday, May 3, 2026, the activities of Sustainable University Week. The event aims to promote sustainability concepts and enhance environmental and scientific awareness among students and academic staff.The activities featured a variety of scientific and cultural events, including workshops, awareness lectures, and scientific exhibitions, in addition to student competitions that foster innovation and creativity. These activities are aligned with the objectives of sustainable development.The event was attended by the Vice Presidents of the University for Scientific and Administrative Affairs, along with the Dean of the College of Education for Pure Sciences, Assistant Professor Dr. Riyadh Mubarak Abdullah, as well as a number of faculty members and students. The attendees reviewed the showcased activities and commended the efforts made in organizing this distinguished scientific event, emphasizing the importance of such initiatives in fostering a culture of sustainability within the university environment.This initiative comes as part of Al-Hamdaniya University’s ongoing efforts to support programs aimed at achieving sustainable development and to strengthen the role of educational institutions in serving the community.
