Under the patronage of the President of Al-Hamdaniya University, Professor Dr. Nashaat Mubarak Sliwa, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Education for Pure Sciences, Assistant Professor Dr. Riyadh Mubarak Abdullah, an awareness activity entitled “The Impact of Smoking on Public Health” was conducted for first-year students in the Department of Biological Sciences for the academic year 2025–2026.The activity was organized under the supervision of the Head of the Chemical, Biological, and Radiological Safety and Security Unit, Assistant Lecturer Ran Abdul Salam Hamed, a faculty member in the Department of Biological Sciences. During the activity, first-year students presented awareness brochures highlighting the importance of prevention and the adoption of healthy lifestyles.
