Under the patronage of the President of Al-Hamdaniya University, Professor Dr. Nash’at Mubarak Sliwa, and the supervision of the Dean of the College of التربية للعلوم الصرفة (College of Education for Pure Sciences), Assistant Professor Dr. Riyadh Mubarak Abdullah, the Continuing Education Unit at the College, in collaboration with the University Health Unit at the University Presidency, organized a scientific course entitled “The Biochemical and Physical Effects of Medical Device Radiation on Humans.”The first day of the course, held on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, featured an افتتاحية (opening lecture) delivered by Professor Dr. Malik Hassan Khudr. In his lecture, he provided an introduction to the nature of radiation emitted by medical devices, its effects on humans, and methods of protection against it.The course was attended in part by the Dean of the College, the Head of the Department of Physics, academic staff members, and postgraduate students. The Dean emphasized the importance of such scientific activities in enhancing awareness and knowledge among participants.The course aims to develop the participants’ skills and keep pace with advancements in the medical and technological fields.
