Al-Hamdaniya University received today, Sunday, 30 November 2025, a high-level academic delegation from Hakim Sabzevari University in the Islamic Republic of Iran, as part of the activation of the memorandum of understanding between the two sides and the strengthening of joint scientific and research cooperation.

The delegation was warmly welcomed by the President of Al-Hamdaniya University, Professor Dr. Nash’at Mubarak Saliwa, in the presence of Professor Dr. Khazaal Yassin Mustafa, the Scientific Assistant to the President, and Assistant Professor Dr. Riyadh Mubarak Abdullah, Dean of the College of Education for Pure Science, in addition to the university deans—underscoring the significance of this visit in developing international academic relations.

During the visit, the distinguished guests—Professor Dr. Moghadam Momeni Majid, Professor Dr. Mahdavi Behnam, and Dr. Keykhosravi Ali Reza—delivered a series of specialized scientific lectures in the Department of Life Sciences at the College of Education for Pure Science. These lectures addressed the latest developments and contemporary research trends in their respective fields, and were met with notable engagement from both students and faculty members.

At the conclusion of the session, the Dean of the College of Education for Pure Science, Assistant Professor Dr. Riyadh Mubarak Abdullah, along with his scientific and administrative assistants, received the visiting delegation. Discussions centered on prospects for future collaboration, mechanisms for implementing joint programs, and the exchange of research expertise between the two universities—aimed at supporting academic rigor and enriching the academic environment in both institutions.

This visit comes as part of Al-Hamdaniya University’s strategic orientation toward international openness and the expansion of partnerships that serve its educational and research mission.
