The College of Education for Pure Sciences at Al-Hamdaniya University actively participated in the opening day of the Iraqi Anti-Drug Week, as part of ongoing efforts to raise awareness about the dangers of drug abuse and to strengthen a culture of prevention among university students.

The event was attended by the University President, the Dean of the College, a number of faculty members, and students, all of whom emphasized the importance of integrating academic and community efforts to protect young people from the risks of deviation and substance abuse.

The college’s contribution included educational materials highlighting the health, social, and psychological effects of drug use, in addition to underscoring the pivotal role of educational institutions in promoting awareness and limiting the spread of this phenomenon.
