Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Nashaat Mubarak Sliwa, President of the University of Al-Hamdaniya, and under the supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Riyadh Mubarak Abdullah, Dean of the College of Education for Pure Sciences, the Department of Computer Science, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Unit at the college, organized a workshop entitled:
“Sustainable Development at the College of Education for Pure Sciences.”
The workshop was presented by Instructor Istabraq Ali Hamid and was attended by a number of university staff members and students.
The workshop addressed the concept of sustainable development and its importance in enhancing the university environment and improving the quality of education. It also highlighted the role of academic institutions in achieving global sustainable development goals through education, scientific research, and responsible environmental practices.
At the conclusion of the workshop, the presenter emphasized the necessity of promoting environmental awareness and social responsibility among students and faculty members, as they represent two fundamental pillars in achieving comprehensive sustainable development within and beyond the university.
