The Head of the Department of Biological Sciences at the College of Education for Pure Sciences, Assistant Lecturer Azhar Abbas Ashour, convened a meeting with first-year students to welcome them to the university and mark the beginning of their academic journey for the new academic year.
During the meeting, the Department Head delivered a set of guidelines and instructions designed to facilitate students’ integration into the university environment and to familiarize them with departmental regulations and academic requirements. She underscored the importance of adhering to attendance policies, managing time effectively, and maintaining continuous communication with faculty members to ensure optimal academic support.
She further affirmed the department’s commitment to providing a supportive and motivating educational environment, encouraging students to engage in scientific and research activities that contribute to the development of their skills from the outset of their studies.
