The College of Education for Pure Sciences at the University of Al-Hamdaniya welcomed a specialized ministerial committee tasked with overseeing the implementation of chemical and biological safety and security standards. The visit comes as part of ongoing efforts to promote a safe working environment within academic and research institutions.The committee conducted a field tour of the college’s laboratories and storage facilities, where they reviewed the application of safety procedures, handling protocols for chemical and biological materials, and the conditions under which these materials are stored and used.A detailed inventory of hazardous and dual-use materials was also carried out to document and assess their compliance with the safety standards established by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.During the visit, the committee emphasized the importance of continued collaboration between the college and relevant authorities to ensure a secure educational and research environment.
