Under the patronage of the President of Al-Hamdaniya University, Professor Dr. Nashat Mubarak Saliwa, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Education for Pure Sciences, Assistant Professor Dr. Riyadh Mubarak Abdullah, the activities of the first day of the applied training course entitled:“Nanotechnology and Its Modern Prospects for Innovation in Energy, Medicine, and Industry”commenced on Wednesday, 11 February 2026. The course is organized by the College of Education for Pure Sciences in cooperation with the University of Samarra, Al-Mustansiriyah University, and Phi Center for Sciences.The first day witnessed the attendance of a number of faculty members, researchers, and students. The program included a scientific lecture addressing the theoretical foundations and practical applications of nanotechnology techniques, highlighting their role in advancing the fields of energy, medicine, and various industries. The lecture also reviewed the latest technologies and instruments employed in this field.In a supportive initiative for scientific research, Phi Center for Sciences, represented by Dr. Taha, organized a contribution involving the donation of a nanotechnology tools company to the Dean and the College of Education for Pure Sciences. This initiative aims to enhance laboratory capabilities, strengthen applied research, and facilitate the conduct of advanced scientific experiments, thereby contributing to the advancement of the College’s academic and research standards.
