Personnel and Faculty Affairs Division

The work of the division mainly depends on implementing laws, regulations, and administrative instructions,
based on the concept that the employee’s relationship with the state is an organizational relationship defined by applicable laws and regulations.

The division’s tasks focus on:
– Issuing university orders related to the appointment of permanent and temporary employees, as well as employee transfers and secondments inside and outside the university.
– Granting annual leave, maternity leave, childbirth leave, and sick leave to university staff.
– Referring employees who reach the legal retirement age to retirement.
– Granting letters of appreciation to college staff and anyone providing distinguished services to the university.
– Delegating faculty members and employees for assignments within the country.
– Assigning deans, vice-deans, heads of scientific departments, and directors of the departments belonging to the College of Education for Pure Sciences.
– Following up on the assumption and release of duties of staff after returning from various leaves, secondments, transfers, and retirements.
– Providing staff with service continuation and salary confirmation letters required by state institutions.
– Keeping personal files of all college staff.

Additional responsibilities include:

– Preparing the scientific, technical, and administrative organizational structure of the college.
– Establishing new departments, divisions, and units after obtaining formal approvals from the Ministry.
– Changing job titles of university faculty and employees, and adding their previous services (permanent service, contract service, and political dismissal service).
– Completing employment procedures for university faculty members only, which include issuing orders of appointment, reappointment, transfer of services, secondment, evaluation of teaching eligibility, granting leaves, secondments, and issuing exemption and assignment orders.
