Women’s Affairs Unit

The establishment of the Women’s Affairs Unit requires a clear vision, mission, and objectives to guide efforts towards empowerment and the development of women’s role in society.
Vision:
To achieve a society characterized by non-discrimination and social justice, where women play an active and influential role in all fields of life.
Mission:

• Develop support programs for entrepreneurship to empower women economically.

• Strengthen women’s social empowerment through building social support networks.

• Launch initiatives to promote political empowerment and female participation in government institutions.

Objectives:

• Promote awareness of women’s rights and combat discrimination and violence against them.

• Achieve cultural transformation that values the importance of women’s participation in all aspects of life.

:Work Plan

The “Women’s Empowerment Unit” is a structure or initiative aimed at strengthening the role and participation of women in various economic and social aspects of life. For planning the establishment of the unit, a work plan should be prepared that includes the following goals and actions:

• Current Situation Analysis: Study the current status of women in the targeted society, including economic and social analysis.

• Defining Goals: Set clear and measurable goals to enhance women’s role and empowerment, whether economically or socially.

• Designing Empowerment Programs: Develop programs and activities aimed at empowering women, such as vocational training, workshops, and entrepreneurship programs.

• Building Partnerships: Establish partnerships with governmental and non-governmental organizations, as well as the private sector, to support and strengthen women’s empowerment initiatives.

• Providing Financial Support: Seek financial resources to fund the programs and projects of the Women’s Empowerment Unit.

• Awareness and Education: Launch awareness campaigns to spread knowledge about women’s rights and opportunities, and to encourage active participation in various fields.

• Measurement and Evaluation: Establish a system for measuring and evaluating the performance of the Women’s Empowerment Unit, and adjust plans according to achieved results.

• Encouraging Community Participation: Strengthen women’s effective participation in local community decision-making and program implementation.

• Continuous Support and Follow-up: Ensure sustainable support and follow-up to guarantee long-term impact of the unit.

• Continuous Improvement: Regularly evaluate and improve programs and activities based on challenges and opportunities encountered during implementation.
