About the Unit:
The Sports Activities Unit is part of the Dean’s Office at the College of Education for Pure Sciences. It is responsible for organizing and coordinating sports activities inside the college and engaging students in competitive and recreational sports events, both within the college and with other colleges at the university.
Vision:
To create an active university environment that supports the athletic side of students, while promoting sportsmanship, cooperation, and fair competition.
Mission:
1. To provide diverse sports activities that develop students’ physical skills and strengthen their social bonds through organizing internal tournaments and competitions.
2. To coordinate with other university colleges for joint activities.
3. To encourage teamwork and foster team spirit.
Objectives:
1. Organize sports tournaments within the college in various games such as football, table tennis, chess, and others.
2. Increase the college’s participation in sports events held among university colleges.
3. Encourage students to practice sports and maintain a healthy lifestyle.
4. Discover and support athletic talents by involving them in competitions.
5. Create an atmosphere of friendship and positive interaction among students through sports activities.
