Scout Activities Unit

Description:

This unit is considered one of the important units as it works on implementing scouting programs for college students through organizing training courses, scouting competitions, preparing rover leaders, and scouting meetings. It also supervises and implements various scouting activities and multiple participations that provide students with full knowledge of the scouting movement, its goals, principles, traditions, and how to practice scouting activities, including skills and crafts to achieve the intended purpose.

Vision:

The scouting vision focuses on building a better world by preparing students who can contribute to building a better society by instilling love for the homeland and belonging to it, and raising awareness of national duties. It also aims at the development of youth in aspects such as physical, social, cultural, and spiritual education.

Mission:

To contribute to educating students through a value-based system rooted in the scout promise and law, where the main duties of scouts are duty to God, duty to others, and duty to self.

Goals:

The goal of the scouting movement is to contribute to the development of young people to enable them to fully benefit from their physical, mental, social, and spiritual abilities as individuals, responsible citizens, and members of their local, national, and global communities. This is achieved by instilling values and good morals, strengthening self-confidence and self-reliance, encouraging youth to explore the world around them and discover their own abilities, acquiring leadership skills, problem-solving, teamwork, and participating in volunteer activities and community service.
