Student activities are a set of programs organized outside the academic curriculum. They aim to develop students’ personal skills in a comprehensive way by providing opportunities for growth and developing talents academically, socially, culturally, athletically, and artistically. These activities also enhance teamwork and strengthen students’ sense of belonging to their institution and community

:About the Division

– Student Activities Division: This division plays an important role as it is closely connected with students at all levels, serving them, building their character, and discovering their abilities. It achieves this through participation in various activities, competitions, and events that instill values of belonging, responsibility, citizenship, ethics, cooperation, tolerance, and coexistence. It also empowers and motivates students to express their ideas and opinions freely and confidently, enabling them to make decisions, communicate effectively, and solve problems.

– Vision: The division seeks leadership and excellence in sports, scouting, arts, and cultural fields. It aims to create a healthy and supportive environment that enhances students’ well-being and skills, promotes teamwork, positive competition, and builds a balanced personality capable of achieving goals.

– Mission: The mission of the division is to provide diverse sports activities that enhance physical fitness, identify talented students, develop their skills, teach values of cooperation and discipline, and encourage active participation in activities. This helps students reach their best potential, making them an important and dynamic part of society while promoting both physical and mental health.

– Objectives: The main goals are to improve students’ fitness and general health, develop individual and group skills, promote positive competition and mutual respect, and create opportunities for building friendships and communication. The division also focuses on enhancing leadership skills through teams and activities organized under its supervision.

:Tasks and Duties of the Division

– Tasks: The division contributes to establishing playgrounds, camps, and facilities, and supports various student activities. It aims to meet students’ needs and interests, guiding them to use their free time productively, develop good relationships, and exchange experiences with staff and faculty members. This is achieved through exhibitions, festivals, cultural courses, seminars, conferences, and local, university, and international competitions that provide knowledge and experience.

– Duties: The duties include administrative work, such as responding to official letters from the university and college, and practical work, such as enhancing students’ university experience through diverse activities (cultural, social, athletic, artistic, and others). The division also answers students’ questions about activities, their schedules, and provides training resources for sports inside and outside the college.
