Performance Appraisal Unit
First: Work Guide
• Preparation of performance evaluation forms for faculty members, administrative and technical staff, in accordance with the regulations of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, where the following are carried out:
- Distributing forms electronically to the affiliates.
- Forms are collected on paper from the departments and reviewed by the Quality Assurance Division.
- The results shall be submitted to the Quality Assurance Department at the University Presidency to be submitted within the Ministry’s annual reports.
- The results are used in academic promotions and institutional performance improvements.
• Organizing workshops to explain the mechanism of filling out forms and distributing grades to various topics such as education, scientific research, and community service.
• Follow up the implementation of quality standards in scientific departments to ensure academic accreditation.
• Conducting surveys such as the student’s opinion of the teacher, and evaluating the work environment.
Second: Achievements
- The annual performance appraisal for the year 2023-2024 has been prepared and implemented to evaluate the performance of teaching and administrative staff, and work is underway on the performance evaluation for the year 2024-2025 for all affiliates.
- Contributing to supporting programmatic accreditation, as the unit contributed to providing the accreditation committees with data and indicators related to academic and administrative performance, and documenting the necessary evidence within the requirements of quality and accreditation.
- The student opinion questionnaire for the year 2024-2025 has been prepared and implemented, and work is underway on the student opinion questionnaire for the year 2025-2026.
