The library is considered the main and essential component of the college as it helps students in their studies and professors in their teaching by providing scientific references, books, and other resources. It is also one of the most important scientific institutions and facilities that play a prominent role in developing societies by advancing scientific research through effective services for researchers. With the rapid developments in today’s knowledge society, it has become necessary for the library to keep pace with modern changes.

The library provides pioneering services to its users in technical processes, reference, and guidance services. It aims to be a scientific university library that creatively and innovatively employs resources.
Objectives:
– Providing a modern, balanced, and comprehensive collection of information resources closely linked to the academic curriculum.
– Organizing information resources through cataloging and classification processes.
– Offering library services to the user community such as lending services and periodicals.
– Training users on the proper use of the library, its resources, and its various services.
– Introducing students to international classification systems and modern developments in library and information science.
Tasks:
– Carrying out technical procedures for books including cataloging, numbering, arranging, and organizing for maximum use.
– Providing research, electronic, and informational services to users.
– Providing a reading hall for students.
– Participating in scientific book fairs at the college or university level.
