The Assistant Dean for Administrative and Financial Affairs is responsible for overseeing all administrative and financial activities in the College, including staff management, budgeting, infrastructure, monitoring workflow in the College, issuing administrative orders, and coordinating work between divisions and departments.

The vision of the Assistant Dean for Administrative and Financial Affairs is to create an ideal environment for administrative and financial operations that contributes to the development of the College’s institutional work in service of the academic mission, in accordance with laws, regulations, and instructions.

At the forefront of the responsibilities of the Assistant Dean is monitoring the workflow of administrative and financial units to ensure they operate with the highest efficiency, through a well-planned administrative and financial strategy. The mission also includes applying precise standards in work distribution among employees to achieve the goals and interests of the College.

Duties of the Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs
– Collaborating with the Dean in managing the College’s operations and developing future plans.
– Providing administrative support to scientific departments, divisions, and administrative units within the College.
– Managing the work of the administrative and financial units.
– Assigning administrative and technical staff to scientific departments and administrative units.
– Supervising maintenance and services within the College.
– Following up on incoming mail, reviewing its contents, and directing it to the appropriate units and divisions within granted authority and in line with regulations.
– Monitoring the work of committees responsible for salaries and other financial matters.
– Chairing various committees that fall under administrative jurisdiction.
– Participating in all events and activities held at the College.
– Overseeing civil defense duties within the College.
– Signing correspondence within administrative authority.
– Monitoring employee attendance and documenting absenteeism for those who fail to adhere to official working hours.
