Under the patronage of the President of Al-Hamdaniya University, Prof. Dr. Nashat Mubarak Sliwa, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Education for Pure Sciences, Asst. Prof. Dr. Riyadh Mubarak Abdullah, the heads of the college departments, along with a number of faculty members and administrative staff, participated in the activities of the National Afforestation Day held on Thursday, 12 March 2026.This participation came within the framework of supporting environmental initiatives and enhancing attention to green spaces within the university campus. It also aimed at spreading awareness about the importance of afforestation and its role in environmental preservation, as well as improving the aesthetic appearance of educational institutions.
