Government Program

Vision:

Enhancing and supporting scientific output.

Mission:

Working jointly with public universities and civil society institutions requires greater effort to raise and strengthen the scientific level of the college and advance it to a better position. This is achieved through cooperation among the departments and units of the college to fully utilize the opportunities of education.

Objectives:

– Considering the entry of Iraqi universities into global rankings as a goal and an indicator of the quality of higher education in Iraq. Each university president or college dean must present a clear timeline for including their institution in one of the major international rankings.

– Establishing real partnerships between Iraqi universities and leading international universities through joint studies, training, exchange of testing methods, joint research outcomes, and other key areas.

– Supporting the Ministry’s plans to reduce redundancy, promote academic and research environments, enhance campus life, raise academic standards, and seek cooperation with the state or companies to accomplish projects.

– Encouraging the establishment of public universities based on international quality standards, supporting parallel education programs, introducing distance learning, and placing existing universities under evaluation—either to raise their standards or to revoke the licenses of non-serious institutions that only aim to issue certificates without academic integrity.

Work Plan:

The College of Education for Pure Science / University of Al-Hamdaniya aspires to have an important share in Iraq’s scientific development, being a respected academic institution that encourages research. Based on the college administration’s goal to develop and document scientific activities within departments and among teaching and administrative staff, the Government Program Unit was established under the supervision of the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs. Its mission is to develop and organize scientific activities, curricula, and all related academic matters, including publishing research, holding training courses, workshops, seminars, and scientific conferences. This reflects the college’s commitment to progress, attracting rare talents, and utilizing ambitious capabilities to overcome challenges, all thanks to the strong support provided by the college administration to its faculty, students, and staff alike.
