A group of faculty members from the Department of Biology at the College of Education for Pure Sciences, University of Al-Hamdaniya, have contributed to the authorship of two scientific chapters in a recently published book by the renowned German publishing house Springer, entitled:
“Advances in Lichens and Non-Flowering Plants Fungal Endophytes Research – Volume 1: Biodiversity and Ecological Perspective.”

The first chapter is titled:
“Discovery of Endo-Fungi within Water Ferns: Community Analyses Based on High Throughput Sequencing.”

The second chapter is titled:
“Biodiversity of Algicolous Fungi Related with Macroalgae (Seaweeds).”

This scientific contribution represents a significant addition to the research output of the College of Education for Pure Sciences. It reflects the high academic caliber of its faculty members and embodies the fruitful research collaboration between the University of Al-Hamdaniya and other academic institutions. Such achievements further enhance the university’s academic and research standing both locally and internationally.
