Dr. Raghad Adnan Ali, a faculty member in the Department of Biology at the College of Education for Pure Sciences, University of Al-Hamdaniya, participated in the 18th Annual Festival held in Duhok Governorate from September 15 to 16, 2025. The event was conducted under the patronage of Dr. Ali Tatar, Governor of Duhok, and supervised by the Duhok Directorate of Agriculture, represented by Dr. Amjad Ubaid.The festival featured a diverse display of local varieties of grapes and figs, as well as locally produced honey, and was attended by a distinguished group of academics and specialists from several universities.The festival aimed to strengthen collaboration between farmers and academics through the development of production skills, dissemination of agricultural extension practices, and promotion of appropriate farming and breeding techniques compatible with local varieties capable of adapting to the climatic conditions of northern Iraq.
