The Dean of the College of Education for Pure Sciences, Asst. Prof. Dr. Riyadh Mubarak Abdullah, received in his office on Wednesday, 14 January 2026, the Head of the Qaraqosh Council of Notables, Mr. Saad Majeed Zaki, during a visit aimed at strengthening cooperation and communication between the academic institution and the local community.
During the meeting, a number of issues of mutual interest were discussed, particularly ways to support the educational process and activate community initiatives that contribute to serving students and the residents of the region, in addition to exploring mechanisms for organizing joint scientific and cultural activities.
The Dean emphasized the College of Education for Pure Sciences’ commitment to openness toward the local community and to building effective partnerships with influential figures and institutions that support the academic journey. He also praised the role played by the Qaraqosh Council of Notables in supporting stability and development.
For his part, Mr. Saad Majeed Zaki expressed his appreciation for the college administration and its staff, commending the efforts exerted to enhance the academic level, and affirming the readiness of the Council of Notables to provide possible support in a manner that serves students and strengthens the college’s academic standing.
