Assistant Professor Dr. Riyadh Mubarak Abdullah, Dean of the College of Education for Pure Sciences, participated in the proceedings of the Fourth International Scientific Conference on the English Language, held under the title “Modern Perspectives in Applied Linguistics.” The conference was jointly organized by Al-Noor University and the University of Al-Hamdaniya.
The conference activities commenced on the morning of Sunday, 1 February 2026, at Al-Noor University. The program included an official opening session followed by four scientific sessions dedicated to the presentation of research papers and academic discussions.
The conference witnessed broad participation from academic staff members and researchers representing various Iraqi universities, in addition to international scholars, within the framework of enhancing scientific cooperation and exchanging expertise in the fields of the English language and applied linguistics.
