As part of its ongoing efforts to implement the Bologna Process in alignment with ministerial directives and international standards in higher education, the College of Education for Pure Sciences at the University of Al-Hamdaniya has intensified its preparations through a series of meetings and training sessions.Lecturer Dhafer Sabah Yassin, Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, held several meetings in recent days with the heads of scientific departments to discuss the requirements for integrating the Bologna Process into the academic curriculum and the practical mechanisms for its implementation within the college.A specialized theoretical training course was recently completed, covering the foundational concepts of the Bologna Process. The course highlighted implementation strategies in higher education, steps for designing programs and curricula under the Bologna framework, and key components such as the credit-based system, practical application methods, registration and admission procedures, evaluation processes, and policies related to student transfer, hosting, and academic equivalency.Preparations are also underway to launch a dedicated online training course focused on the practical aspects of the Bologna Process, targeting departments with applied and laboratory-based components. This initiative aims to ensure the integration of theoretical and practical implementation, achieving the highest levels of educational quality.These meetings and training sessions reflect the college’s commitment to strengthening the capabilities of its academic and administrative staff, staying abreast of global developments in education systems, and enhancing the overall quality and structure of the academic experience in line with internationally recognized standards
