As part of efforts to strengthen scientific collaboration among Iraqi universities, the Department of Biology at the College of Education for Pure Sciences, University of Al-Hamdaniya, organized a scientific visit to the College of Agriculture and Forestry at the University of Mosul. The visit included second- and third-year students under the supervision of a group of faculty members from the department.
During the visit, students were introduced to several scientific experiments conducted in the central laboratory and became acquainted with the instruments used in agricultural and applied research fields. The tour also included a visit to the Plant Protection Laboratory, where students observed educational models and displayed samples, in addition to viewing various plant species cultivated within the college’s facilities.
The main objective of this visit was to enhance students’ practical skills and to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and field application, thereby contributing to the development of their scientific competencies.
