Professor Dr. Malik Hussein Khudhur, a faculty member in the Department of Physics at the College of Education for Pure Sciences, University of Al-Hamdaniya, participated as a member of the examination committee for the Master’s thesis of student Saleh Nouri Shakur Al-Azzawi at the College of Science, University of Kirkuk. The thesis was entitled:
“Measurement of Alpha Emitter Densities and Determination of Radon Concentration Levels in Bone Samples of Various Animal Species.”
The defense took place in the discussion hall of the Department of Physics at the College of Science, University of Kirkuk. The study focused on measuring the concentrations of radioactive radon gas in the bones of certain animal species, and assessing its potential impact on human health.
The examination committee consisted of the following members:

At the conclusion of the defense, the committee provided its observations on the thesis and commended the student for his efforts in conducting a distinguished scientific study that sheds light on a topic of both environmental and health significance.
