We aspire to be a leader in discovering biological principles that will address critical challenges facing humanity and the environment. We aim to inspire a community of lifelong learners equipped to apply their knowledge and skills to make a positive impact on society and the natural world. 

Department Mission

The Department of Life Sciences seeks to provide a stimulating learning environment and to become an internationally recognized center of excellence in biological research and education. We also aspire to be a leader in discovering biological principles that will address critical environmental challenges and build a community of learners equipped to apply their knowledge and skills to make a positive impact on society and the world.

Department Objectives

1.Graduating specialized cadres in the field of Biology to work in the teaching field, contributing to the development of educational institutions.
2. Working to provide distinguished and advanced education that equips students with a deep understanding of biological concepts, critical thinking skills, and the ability to conduct purposeful research, enhancing their future capabilities for work in various Research Centers.
3. Providing academic support to faculty members to conduct pioneering research in various biological disciplines, contributing to the advancement of scientific knowledge, and resolving critical issues that play a significant role in serving society.
4. Striving to develop the department in all scientific and research fields and working to open for Postgraduate studies the field of Biology.
