The Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs at the College of Education for Pure Sciences, Assist. Prof. Dr. Mohammed Abbas Kazim, held an expanded meeting on Wednesday, 4 January 2026. The meeting was attended by the heads of scientific departments as well as the officials of administrative divisions and units within the College, as part of ongoing efforts to monitor the implementation of development programs and to enhance academic and administrative performance.
The meeting addressed the key axes of the College’s strategic plan for the upcoming phase, with a particular focus on improving the quality of education, advancing scientific research, and updating academic curricula in line with academic accreditation requirements and comprehensive quality standards.
During the meeting, the Assistant Dean emphasized the importance of concerted efforts between scientific departments and administrative units to ensure the achievement of the outlined objectives. He also stressed the necessity of establishing clear timelines and precise monitoring mechanisms for the effective implementation of the strategic plan.
