Goals:
This unit aims to integrate and empower individuals with special needs in society by providing an educational and supportive environment, offering assistance services, increasing community awareness, and nurturing their abilities and creativity. The goal is to help them become active and productive members of their environment, thereby creating an inclusive and diverse community that achieves the best possible outcomes on academic, professional, and personal levels.
Mission:
The mission of this unit is to prepare the educational environment and make universities and colleges inclusive places for this group by providing accessible facilities and pathways, and offering specialized services such as academic guidance and counseling. It also seeks to provide the modern technologies necessary to prepare them for the labor market by training individuals with special needs in line with their abilities, enabling them to participate in this field. This can be achieved through coordinating efforts and building strategic partnerships with civil society institutions and relevant organizations to enhance care and rehabilitation services. Ultimately, this will facilitate their participation in university life through clubs and various activities, while fostering their capabilities, developing individual skills, and guiding them toward creativity and excellence.

The vision is to build a society that embraces and values individuals with special needs, providing them with equal opportunities for active participation in academic and social life, and supporting them in completing their educational journey.
Tasks of the Unit:
Direct communication with this group to identify each student’s case and provide the necessary facilities.
Opening a file for each student (case follow-up) at the academic level to detect any shortcomings during their university journey.
Organizing meetings between students with special needs and student affairs departments to introduce them to the services available and identify their requirements.
Holding workshops to raise awareness among faculty members about the needs of this group and to facilitate their academic and social requirements.
